The double bass comes with thicker string, greater body as well as thicker and shorter fiddlestick in comparison with the cello. It usually makes use of the casing string. The pitch is one octave lower than that of the cello. This product is responsible for the lowest voice part in the symphony orchestra but it is not the musical instrument producing the low pitched sounds.


When played in unison, the double bass is capable of supplying the best low pitched sounds in the whole band. Moreover, the sounds are deep, vigorous and resilient. This product is more active than the woodwind and brass instruments having the same sound range. Its playing skill is more flexible than those of other musical instruments with similar sound range.
