Maintenance:


1.At first,the operator should wear a pair of glove because the sweat, grease and other things will contaminate the drum chamber and metal spare parts.


2.The clamping ring should be dismantled from the snare drum and the skin will be removed.


3.The inner and outsides of the 2 clamping rings are carefully wiped with the dry cleaning cloth.Then, clean the inner and outer chamber surface.Meanwhile, the edge should be carefully wiped.The edge is contact with the metal ring the skin and bears great pressure from the clamping rings.Thus, it is easy to abraded and consumed .Under such a circumstance,the edge will have wood powder.The edge should be carefully cleaned and checked whether it has cracks and whether the interlayer parts are separate from each other.


4.Afterwards,the snare switch as well as other metal hardware will be cleaned.


5.The dust in the dead corner of the snare switch should be removed with the soft hairbrush.The the snare switch is supplied with the lubricating fluid to prevent rust and to keep flexibility.


6.When the above procedures are finished,the snare drum chamber will be maintained with the guitar or piano dedicated cleaning and maintaining agent and then wiped with the dry cleaning cloth.This professional maintenance agent can not only remove stubborn stains but also do no harm to the chamber material and have no chemical reaction with the painted surface.
